School Books These books were published during the 1960s and 1970s to teach science and history to children and young teenagers. I've scanned several and placed them here, for your reference. They're so well written that even adults with no prior knowledge of a subject can easily learn the basics. Most of the books are heavily illustrated.

Please note that because of their age, some of the technology described in these books may be outdated. Nevertheless, the basic principles of any science or technology remain the same. The history books strive to give a neutral view, and are more free of political bias than modern history texts. Because the series was published in the UK, the USA and Australia, some of the books contain the Brtish-English names for objects, as well as the British-English spellings. for example, usng the term "wireless" instead of "radio" and spelling the word "color" as "colour."

Please check back often. I'll be adding a few books from time to time. If you have any of the books in the series, please scan it at 300 dpi and send it to me! If you don't want it, I'll be happy to arrange something with you. These books need to be preserved.
